Searching for my great-grandma - born either in Lowell MA, USA or Dakota territories. Mother's name Eleanor Nadeau and not sure of father's name - may have been Joseph, and family may have come from Manitoba, Canada down to the states and may have been a
t Turtle Mountain. She later married Jules Poitras in North Battleford, Sask. Canada in 1891 and settled at Jackfish lake. Trying to locate her birth place and name of her father. Thanks for any help.
