Research Interest: Great-great grandparents Conrad and Margaret Fastnaught of Alexandria, VA 1867. Child William, his child Franklin my great grandfather. There were five brothers in my great grandfathers' generation - Hunsey, John, Franklin my grandfather, George and p ossibly Tom. They resided in the Md., Virginia, Washington D.C. area in the late 1800's and early 1900's. I know my great grandfather was a bricklayer, lived in Anacostia, had fine horses pictures and was a party type so they say. He and his wife Ea ster Mariah Bowie Fastnaught had eight living children and only one son called Willie - he never married. Any information on the Fastnaughts would be greatly appreciated. I am sure they were Confederates. I was told by my grandmother that Dr. Mudd was th eir family physician. Wonder if the Fastnaughts were Palatine Germans or came over later. Thank you for any assistance. Mary Folger Keefer Possible names SUSAN, FRANK.
