Research Interest: I am doing research on the Eaton family. I have information for David Eaton born in 1804 in (I believe) York county, PA. His father's name was also David Eaton. His mother's name was Rachel West, the daughter of George and Pracilla West. David married Ha nnah Mantel, the daughter of William Mantel. They moved from PA to Monroe county Ohio where 5 of their children were born. They moved to Wood county West Virginia in 1856 where they lived until their deaths. I am a direct descendent of David and have doc umentation from him to the present day generation. I am looking for information on his parents, brothers and sisters, and other relatives. I have some information on Eatons from PA, NY, MA, and New England, but have not been able to tie them to my family line as of yet. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
