James Eagling was born about 1806 in England. He was married to a Martha Freeman, born in England. They had three children Sarah born 1840, James born 1843, And Joseph or Lewin or Lewis born 1848. Migrated to Michigan in 1849, we assume though Canada h
as found no boat records. They showed up on census in 1850 in Greenfield, Wayne, Michigan. Have not been able to trace back beyond that date, found a marriage in Holbeach, Lincolnshire, around 1838 where two people matching got married in same quarter,
but have not been able to confirm them as the two I am looking for.
