Research Interest: John was born in Wimbledon and migrated in 1855 on the Speedy to Sydney with his first wife Ellen Freeman. After Ellen's death on the NSW gold fields he married Elizabeth Coote in Parramatta in 1861. He had two daughters by his first wife of whom one su rvived to adulthood and thirteen to his second wife all of whom survived to adulthood . I am interested in conatacting any descendants of John Driver or anyone with interest in his forebears or ancestors.
