trying to find parents of alexander drennan. know he enlisted in the civil war , was in the 44th O. V. I. , enlisted Sept. 16, 1861, was in Company E. Transferred to Company E, 8th Ohio Cavalry Regiment,Jan. 4, 1864. Mustered out at Clarksburg, W. Virg
inia. July 30, 1865. Also the 44th Ohio was organized at Springfield, Ohio. He married Elizabeth Ann Ralston., lived in shelby co.,ohio. but cannot track back to parents.
