Tobias Drees came to the area around Minster, Ohio
probably in the early 1830's. His place of birth was likely
Oldenberg, Germany. His wife's name was Anna Marie Wente.
Tobias had at least one son, Bernard born November 5, 1842
and died Sept. 23, 1916. Bernard is my great gradnfather,
but I cannot locate information on his father (Tobias) or
whether he had any siblings. Auglaize Co was formed in 1848
from Allen, Mercer and Shelby, so any death reconrd before
1848 may be elsewhere than in Auglaize Co.
Any help on locating information on Tobias Drees would be
appreciated.
