Research Interest: William Downing, b. 1804 somewhere in KY. Parents unknown. They were Possibly killed by Indians and William was raised by neighbors or relatives. William 1st m. Nancy Petty, 2nd m. Nancy McClellan, 3rd m. Elizabeth Moreland Stevens. William lived his a dult life in Henry, Putnam and Parke Co's Indiana. He possibly had a total of 15 children. Would like to hear from any of his descendants and anyone who can tell me who his parents and siblings were.
