I am looking for information on the Thomas & Marie Dowden
family of the Somerset area of England. Thomas was born about
1811 in Bridgewater, England. Marie was born about 1813 in
Taunton. They had four children: Sarah (born 1838)who
married Francis Reed; Charles (born 1841) who married
Elizabeth Ann and settled in Bawdrip; Elizabeth Brown (born
1843); and James Brown (born 1847) who married Emily and
settled in Newport, Monmouthshire. Any information on
this family would be appreciated.
