I am trying to verify that Philander Dowd is my gg grandfather
He is buried in Elk Twp. cemetery and his parents were Owen
and Hannah Graves Dowd. He has 3 brothers: Alexander C b
c1832, Aquilla b May 1837 and Sanford B b c1854; and one
sister: Harriet b 1834. He was suppose to have been married
to a Sarah________. I would like this for my mother as she
would like to become a member of the DAR and the grandfather
of Philander, Connor Dowd served in the Rev War.
