Research Interest: Carrington, Carnton, Carinton, Charrentan or Harnton Dixon was born abt 1797 but don't know where. Poss Penn, Virginia. Looking for parents. Married Rachel Williams 1822 in Indiana. Children John William Dixon, Nathan Farlow Dixon, Joseph Dixon and oth ers. My GGgrandfather was John William Dixon and have followed his family to Iowa in 1867 and into Kansas. John was a member of the Quaker Friends Church in Jewell Co.
