Research Interest: We are looking for our ancestor, Sebastian Dirr, who was born in 1829, came to Louisiana around 1850 and died near Covington, Louisiana in 1901. We believe he left 2 sisters and a brother in Germany. Viktoria married Thomas Leichtenstern and had 5 childr en. Krezsenz married Mathaeus Nothelfer and had 3 daughters. Josef married Maria Anna Mangold and had 1 son and a stepson. We would like to know if there are any descendants of these people still in Germany.
