Research Interest: Grandfather is thomas dinlocker descended from Lt Wiilliam Dinlocker, a policeman in early 1900's Philadelphia,Pa. Descended from five brothers who came to this country with original name Dinkelacker-from the German beer company. 2 left and went west f or the gold rush and other adventures and three stayed in the area. family story was that they raised the kleisdale horses out in the Reading area. Some stayed in Doylestown area and owned farms with changed name of Dinlocker. Came from near Heidelberg area in Germany.
