Research Interest: Have some info re Richard and Annie Crawford Devant from Charleston, So.Ca.They are my great grandparents and were supposedly born in Charleston c.1850's. My grandmother, Louisa, was born there in c.1879. Would appreciate ANY info re any Devant line as t here are very few Devants to be found I also wonder about the possibility of there being some relation to the Davants but as yet cannot prove anything. Thank you.
