I am trying to research the family name from its beginning in Europe or the Middle East I heard they are commom name in Lebanon to the Americas. Some of the Derbes came to the USA, i.e. Louisiana, Texas and others went to Mexico, where they spell their
name Derbez and finally South America, Argentina. In the province of Buenos Aires and down in the Patagonia specifically Puerto Madryn. My side of the family is from Argentina, but I know that the a lot of Derbes in the new world where sailors and shi
