Research Interest: This is my paternal grandmother. She married Churchill Lester Cropley in 1911 sometime after emmigrating from the Johannesburg area of South Africa with her parent s and siblings. They may have met and married in New Brunswick where my grandfath er was originally from, or they may have met after he moved west to Alberta to what was to become the Berrymoor area. Now Drayton Valley area . They had 10 children, the oldest of which was my father Ralph who was reputed to be the first white child born in this area. She was fairly young when she died.
