Francois John DeGough married Margaret Briget from Ireland not sure when they arrived in the USA they had 4 children Francois, John, Margaret Briget, Peter Daniel. Family rumor has it that Peter Daniel, as a young teenager, thought he killed his
sister's boyfriend so he ran away, possibly on a merchant ship and came back after the civil war to the state of Texas. Peter Daniel married Vera Missouri Clementine Pidcoke and they had 13 children.
