Seeking info on Leonard De Taranto b. abt 1864 Italy & Anna
Di Giovanni b. abt 1872 Italy. Anna was Leonard's second
wife. I don't know who Leonard's first wife was, but there
were 3 children born into the first marriage, names unknown.
Leonard and Anna migrated to the U.S. in the early 1890's,
where they settled in Newark, NJ. Their children were Sarah,
Josephine, Betty, Mary, Julia, Estelle, James, Charles, and
William. There may have been another child that died in
childbirth or prior to 1907. William b. 1907 relocated to
Los Angeles, CA during WWII, where he married Theresa
Gonzales 1943. They had 6 children; Ann, Helen, William,
Leonard, Michael & Dennis. Any info on the De Taranto &
Di Giovanni families in Italy will be greatly appreciated.
