Research Interest: This is my maternal grandfather Harry Sturgous Davis . I was told he worked for the railroad and was a criminal gambler/thief . His mother's name was Ann/Anna. I do not know his fathers name. My grandmother said his fanily was well-off and looked down on their marriage. I have not been able to locate a marriage license for my grandparents in IL,1915-1916. My uncle was born in 1917 Marian Edward , my mother 1919 Hazel Anna . I know they were in Decator in1919, mom was born there. I have not b een able to locate a death cert or any family of his. Birthplace Little Rock, Pulaski County, AR Birth Date 03 Feb 1894
