Research Interest: David was born in Penn. or OH in 1800 - 1804. Married Levina Clifton in Belmont Cnty, OH in 1824. By 1850 was in Black Hawk Cnty, Iowa. They had 13 children. Ones I know of are: John Alexander, Mary, Jane, Andrew, Samuel, William, Susan, James, Rebe cca, Sarah, and Catherine. Related family names: Hite, Richey, Reed, Barrack. Supposedly from Welsh Quaker heritage.
