Research Interest: I realize that John Davey is a very common Cornish name, but I am looking for any info on him. He was born in Cornwall England, b. 1860-1875(guess). His family moved to Montana to work in the gold mines near Helena Montana. John met and married a Kath erine Arthur, who was also from Cornwall (same town even, but didn't meet till living in MT). They homesteaded in Havre Montana. They had 5 sons and a daughter. Names - Arthur John Davey b. 1895 d. 1865 m. Barbara Null, James Davey, Martin Davey, Wood row Davey (youngest) and a son & daughter who died at birth. Any info that anyone can give me about John Davey or Katherine Arthur would be greatly appreciated.
