Research Interest: My Great Grandfather was Leander W. Cross who married Louisa Catherine Harris, daughter of Eldridge R. C. Harris, son of George K. Harris. Louisa was the first caucasian child born in Geary Co. Leander died young of Tuberculosis, leaving my grandmother and uncle and his wife, who married Daniel MacArthur in Geary Co. Leander's father was John Cross. That is where the line ends for me with the Cross lineage. There is not much in the family memory concerning Leander, let alone John and any of his anc estry. If there is any information out there, I would most appreciate learning of it. Thanks. Frank Siegle
