Research Interest: Zillah Ann Zilley /Zealla Crawford , my great grandmother was born Dec 1822 in Al or TN. She married Pinckney W. Owen s in Texas ca 1837. She Pinckney received 1280 acres land grant fron Republic of TX for being in TX prior to Oct. 1837 It is n ot known who her parents were. It is said her father was a John Crawford however this is not a fact. I do not know if she had siblings or who they were. It is family history she went to Texas in a wagon train of 30 families and said to traveled with r elatives. Who these relatives were is also not known. Where when zillah Pinckney married in Texas also is not known. ANY info would be wonderful. Thanks Wanda Tracy-Harbert
