Research Interest: My Maternal Grandmother is Caroline Couron born in South Carolina in 1899. Her fathers last name is Couron. He was a Confederate soldier during the Civil War. My Maternal Grandfather is Herman Buesen. Unknown birthplace. My Grandmothers father was pa ssing through S.Carolina while in the war and stopped at a Southern Mansion and met my Great Grandmother unknown last name. After the war Great Grandpa came back and married her and lived for quite sometime in the south. At some point my Grandma and Gr andpa met and married and moved to Minneapolis Minnesota.
