Research Interests Forum Entry for WILLIAM VIRGINIA COOPER at IOWA

Research Interest: Most sources list my g-grandfather as William Thomas Cooper. We have recently discovered William Thomas was my grandfather's George Milton Cooper brother instead of his father. William Virginia Cooper seems to be both men's father. However, I can find nothing to prove this. Mary Ann Terry was my grandfather's mother. She is also listed as Wm. Virginia's wife. Now, I have found a burial record saying Wm V. Mary Ann are buried together in High Point Cemetery in Decatur Co, Iowa. However I have also f ound that Wm. V. was married to Nancy Terry as well as to Mary Ann Terry. I don't think Nancy Mary Ann were sisters cousins maybe. Wm V. has at least 3 listed birth dates, 1810, 1822 1835. I have a WPA Graves Survey saying Wm. V. is buried in High Point, death date 10 Oct 1906. Do you see my confusion read frustration here I got no results at all on MyTrees.com for Wm V. Cooper. Actually, I seldom have gotten results from this site. That is why I don't use it very often. If you can find a ny information on my Coopers from this data, it would be greatly appreciated.
