I hope to locate the natural family of my adoptive mother, b. 04 Nov 1904. She was raised in the Chicago area at a Catholic Orphan's home. Her birth name was Cooper, her married name was Buffum, her given name was Marian Lila she changed the spelling fr
om Meriam Lilah . Her natural mother died, I think, in 1929. The obit. mentioned my mother's siblings and several others. Our house burned down destroying all records.
