This is my great-grandfather on my mother's father's side. He was born in or near Clarksville, Montgomery Co., TN. Married Sallie Mattie Moore (b. 08/27/1870 near Decatur, AL) on 12/23/1890 in Manor, Travis Co., TX. We don't know his father's name, ju
st that he was killed in a logging accident when Jesse was about 9 yrs. old (1878?) and that his mother (name unknown) died when he was about 12. Was raised by oldest of 3 half-sisters until 14-18 yrs. old. Sisters names were thought to be: Mary Coope
