Research Interest: My great grantfather, Isaac Newton Cooper was a soldier in the Confederate War. He was mortally wounded at Spotsylvania, Virginia. I do not know anymore about him--mother , father, sisters/brothers and his birthplace. His wife was Marneva Washington Cooper and they had three sons, Warren, Washington Lafayette, and Elwood. My grandfather, Washington Lafayette, was the only one of their three sons who had children . I would like to know iwho Isaac Newton Cooper's mo ther and father were and if there were brothers and sisters.
