Research Interest: All we know is that Horace was born in Basking Ridge, N. J. and that he married Eunice Phoebe Van Buskirk in N. J. and that they had at least two children born in N. J. before they migrated to La Grange Co., Ind. before 1840 because they were in La Grang e Co. 1840 Census records. We do have quite a bit on some of their descendants although do not know the name their son that was born in N. J. And we have no other records on their daughter Lydia Cooper. We have a very large amount of family history o n their daughter Elizabeth who married John M. Wanzo but have very little on John M. Wanzo - Wanzor. During the Civil War their sons James Henry and Horace's spelling of their names was changed to Wanzer. On Elizabeths gravestone it is written Wanzor. However, John M. Wanzo's son by his second marriage retained the spelling of David Wanzo.
