Research Interest: Was Thomas the son of John Cooper b. 1730 OR was Thomas a part of the King's Army that landed in America about 1777 to fight with the British? Family lore says he was from England BUT could it have been his father instead? I need to know what happened to Thomas, the son of John, that was born in 1754 and then I can determine if my Thomas was indeed from England. My Thomas died in 1810 in Blount County, TN.
