Research Interest: Looking for birth and death information for my gg grandmother, Rebecca Stokes Cook. Born about 1812 in North Carolina. Died around 1880-1890 in Yadkin County NC. Unknown parents. Last found in Yadkin County census of 1880 with daughter Sinasker. I've f ound no evidence of a marriage for her, always found in the census with her children, no male head of household. One of her sons, John stated in burial information that father's name was James Cook, another son, William P. stated father unknown. Sons rel ocated in Henry/Randolph County Indiana, and died there. Any more information for Rebecca would be very appreciated.
