Research Interest: 1860 census for Edgar Co IL shows a James M. as son of Henderson Cook. My greatgrandfather James M. Cook married in Edgar Co in 1861. I have some information that says he died in May 1864. Am trying to prove the James M. son of above mentioned Henderson Cook is my great grandfather. Any results through Civil War records do not coincide with information I have. His wife remarried as Mrs. Mary Cook. Her maiden name being Cofer
