Nicholas is believed to have been a Rev. War Redcoat.
He stayed and married the 1st dau. (nameless) of Wm.
BEAN. I can't find any rec. of their marriage, which
may have taken place in MD, or VA. The 1st mention
of Nicholas, was in 1796, at the occasion of him
appointing his father in law, Wm. BEAN, as his attorney,
to retrieve the estate of his dead bro. William CONNETT.
Wm. CONNETT, had been married to Sarah (Sally)
CARRELL/CARROLL, in KY. in 1796, died 3 months
later, and left her preg. with their son, born in 1797.
He was named Wm. CARROLL CONNETT, marr
Matilda THORNBERRY, in KY. and followed the
BEAN family to MO. (Annuals of Platte Co. MO, by
PAXTON) in 1839, with 9 kids.
Nicholas and Miss ? BEAN had, Wm, Joseph, Absalom,
(later changed his name to Abraham), James, Isaac,
Naomi. There may have been more children we don't know
about. She died, he married Susanna GATTEN/GATTON,
in Bracken Co. KY. in 1823, they had Benjamin Franklin,
and Emily. Nicholas died ca 1835-1836, soon after the
birth of Emily. Susanna was found living next door to her dau., Emily, later, in Ill. Emily married Alexander WILSON.
