Research Interest: I am searching the parents of Thomas (Jefferson) Conner. He is listed on the 1850 Macoupin Co. Il. census with wife Martha and six children, place of birth for Thomas and Marhta Ky. First four children born in Mo. Last four b. in Ill. In 1870 he is li sted in Bourbon Co., Ft. Scott, Kan. census along with two more children born since 1850 census. He is b. ca 1813. Family history says he and his wife are buriedon his farm in Bourbon Co. He very well may be but have no proof. There is a Conner fam ily cemetery now located on privite property. Most of the markers are field stones with no writing. There are two markers one is: T. G. & M. Conner, b. Oct. 15, 1845; died July, 1869. The other is a large manufactured stone with the name Amanda J. Lon g 1833-1868. One son and several daughters remained in Bourbon Co. and have left many decendents. My grandfather, John Warren, went to Ark., married Mary Elizabeth Johnson and moved to Tx ca 1895. I would like to find Thomas B. and his wife, Martha 's, parents.
