My gggrandfather was b. 1818-1820, Nantucket, left home at age 12, arr. in New Zealand ca 1840 on a whaling boat . Married Mary Ainge, 24 Aug 1853 no family. Then lived with Caroline Bathurst - not married as he was not divorced. They had about 12 ch
ildren. Alexander died at Okains Bay, Canterbury, New Zealand 26 July, 1901. Buried at Okains. I would like to know who his parents were He left no clues. hope someone can help. Thankyou, Regards, Pat Low
