Isaac S Coates had 5 children: ISAAC JR, WILLIAN, CALVIN S,
SUSAN AND MARGARET. I found Isaac S Coates as being born in
Penn. around 1805. My line is from Calvin Coates. I cannot
find him in the 1870 census, but did find a Calvin S Coates
in the 1880 census in Penn with a new wife and more children.
Calvin's son is:Isaac Luther Coates. He married Mary Florence Swartz
and they came to Michigan around 1878-1879. Need to know more about the
Coates in Penn. Deceased dates for rest of family.
Some information that I have takes place around Blair Co,
Altoona, PA. Calvin S Coates married Catherine E Dasher in
Mifflintown, PA. Thanks
