Research Interest: I already know that Goodman or John (Goodman)was born here abt.1600, married Elizabeth 1631. What I need is Goodmans parents names,actual date of birth names of other siblings in his family.Where did this family come to Grinton from. I believe the name to have been of Saxon origion and Normand influence possibly in Chesrshire Eng. I'm LOST in England ,I've traced nearly 400 yrs US an can't go past 1 generation in England.I can see now why we left England.1600 should be rather late history in such an old country.What am I doing wrong?
