Research Interest: My great granfather was known by several names William J.,William A., Jasper, J.N.,and George William Cline. He had 2 families, 1 in Desoto County Florida and another in Georgia. He was the son of John Hatter Cline and Elizabeth Betsy Cathey. His b rother was George Marcus Cline and he lived in Florida. He was born 6-15-1836 in N.C. and moved around died supposedly in Florida 1916.His wife in Florida was Sarah J. and the wife he married in Alabama was Julia Ann Bright she is buried in Euharlee Pre bsyterian Church Cem. in Euharlee, Georgia. I have a list of his children but I'm looking for the years between 1850 and 1870. I have found him in Florida census 1880-1890-1900.In the 1900 census my great grandmother Julia living in Rome Ga. listed herse lf as married but head of household,my great grandfather is listed with his family in Forida with his wife passing away in early 1900.
