Research Interest: Joe Clements is my grandfather, he came from Texas to Mississippi where he married my grandmother Mary Cora Rankin Calhoun County before 1916. They had 2 children, maybe more, Clenton Leon and U.V. daughter . My grandfather left my grandmother and went on to Flordia, where he later died around 1954-1959. I think my granfather walked to Mississippi with a friend or brother who walked on to Ala. I don't think that my grandfather was borned in Texas. My father Clenton didn't talk much about his family and I was to young to really care at that time. My father now is dead and information seems to be lost forever.
