Looking for information particularly Williams father and spouses maiden name. William Clegg born abt 1803 in Pa. died Jan 10 1880 and buried in Belle Vernon Cemetery Pa. married Maria/Mariah unknown and had children John S. Clegg, Hazlup M. Clegg, Matth
ew Clegg, William Clegg, James Clegg, Charles Clegg, Sarah Clegg, and Mary Clegg. this line stayed in Fayette County Pa. there is a Matthew Clegg in 1840 age 20-30 with wife and a daughter living in close proximaty to William and Mariah which I believe
is Williams brother however I lose Matthew after 1840. I'm working on a theory that his fathers name is Hugh Clegg who was living in Washington Twp in 1830 but have not come up with any connections as of yet. My best guess is that William and Mariah were
married between 1830-1835.
