Research Interest: Seeking info on parents of Joel S. Clark and Stephen C. Clark, both born in AL. Joel born abt 1818 married Mary Polly Harmon in Catahoula Parish, LA on 31 March 1853 Census records indicate Joel's father born in England and mother born in S.C. Joel came to Catahoula Parish, LA with Stephen C. Clark, b. 15 June 1836, married to Mary Volentine in 1856 Believe Joel and Stephen may be brothers. No other info concerning parents or siblings available. Many of their descendents are also living in Rapid es and Avoyelles Parishes. Thanks for any help.
