Research Interest: Charles was born in 1818. His parents were Charles CLARK and Isobel ROSE. Siblings were John 1819 and Isabella 1821 . Isobel died in 1821 and Charles Sr. later married Jane McPherson. Charles 1818-1853 had a daughter Jane CLARK 1841-1884 . Mother was Anne MacLAUGHLIN. Jane was born in Elgin, Duthil. She was living with her uncle John in 1851 at Croft James Crofthemish . Charles had emigrated to Ontario, Canada earlier and Jane emigrated with her uncle. Family lived in Tilbury East, Kent County, Onta rio, Canada. Jane married Thomas NORRY.
