Research Interest: I have traced the Chamberlain family back to Jeremiah, the first Chamberlain in our family to come over from Ireland. Don't know too much about Jeremiah other than he came over at the age of 45 to help take ocean measurements for the English government. He had a son named James in 1809 who was born in Granger County Tennessee. I would like to find out more about Jeremiah if possible. Jeremiah was married to a Margaret Carmichael. James was married to a Sarah Reynolds Barton. Any info would be app reciated.
