Research Interest: Trenhom Braxie Cason left the Savannah, Ga area at about age 14 Never to return home. He married my grandmother Matilda Jane Church Ham in Perry Co Al. In the 1880 census, most people misread his name as Freeman. His father was James A. Cason mothe r Mary Ann. . I cannot find the parents of James A. Cason. I would like to know the maiden name of Mary Ann. He died in Perry Co. Al, BUT there is no record of his death. The cemetery where he is reported to have been buried is the Bethlehem Baptist cem etery Perry Co Al.NOT the cemetery close to the church, but one up the road 1/2 mile. He was in the Spanish Am War.
