Research Interest:
Edward (Ned) and Mary Corrigan Carville were my great grandparents. They bore twelve children; Anna, Linda, Minnie, Hugh, Thomas (my grandfather), Tessie (Roonie), Josephine, Violet, Ed, Flo (Ross), Francis and Celia. Thomas came to America in 1922 mar
ried Honor (Nora) Devaney and bore eleven children; Edmond, Thomas, Hugh, James, Joan, Madeline, Leo, Fredreick, Anita, Carol and Gerald. He resided and died in Frankfort and Utica, New York on October 18, 1993. His wife Honor (Nora), my grandmother, s
till lives in Utica. This is the only information I have. I would like to research as far back as possible and confirm the family crest and back ground of the name "Carville". I beleive that it might be french as there are Carville's in Louisianna who
are french. I would also like any info on Devaney and Jennings from Mayo Ireland.
