Searching for the birthplace and parents of William Franklin Carrell, born about 9 Jan 1802 in Virginia, possibly Mason County. He married Elizabeth A. Steed and moved to Gallipolis, Gallia County, Ohio on 10 Jun 1837. He subsequently married Elizabeth
A. McCormick. Following her death he married Julia Ann Walter and moved to Irontown, Ohio, from there to Waldron, Indiana, and then to Xenia, Indiana now named Converse, Indiana . He died 23 Sept 1885.
