Research Interest: Looking for any information in reference to Martin Carbajal. Martin was said to have died in Mississippi, in the early 1930s. My grandfather Martin was working on a farm when he became sick and died. He was married at the time to Cresencia Torres Rock dale, Texas and had three children Isidria, Tomasa and Julia. Cresencia was pregnant with Julia, his third daughter, when Martin left to find work. He didn't live to see Julia. During this time Cresencia received a telegram, telling her of Martin's illness and he was not expected to live, a second telegram soon followed. I am looking for any information that will lead me to his final resting place. My grandmother is still living in Texas, along with her oldest daughter, Isidra. My mother now lives in Indiana and her sister Julia, died in 1996 of Leukemia. I will be grateful to anyone who can help me in my search.
