Research Interest: I am researching my great grandmother's family. Her name was Elizabeth Callan. She was born in County Louth, Ireland in 1877. She had at least 2 sisters , Mary Margaret Callan, who was born in 1874, and Anne, born May 20, 1866 in Dromisken, County Louth. She also had at least 1 brother, Peter, born July 15, 1871, in Dromisken, County Louth. Their parents were Peter Callan and Margaret Birch. I am unsure of Peter's parents' names but his grandparents names were Thomas Callan born in 1796 and Catherin e born in 1800 . Thomas had 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Their names were James born in 1790 , Denis born in 1790 , Catherine born in 1792 , and Mary born in 1794 . Peter's great grandparents' names were Baeg 1745-1813 and Margaret Smith. Any informa tion regarding the Callans of County Louth would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, DK
