Research Interest: Robert Bryce is the father of John Bryce. Robert is recorded on John's wedding certificate as a Husbandman. John married Jane Young at Gateshead, England on 2nd December 1853 and is recorded on all subsequent census records as Scottish and I presume that his father, Robert, would also be Scottish. I have been unable to trace John or his father any further back that the marriage in 1853.
