Research Interest: I am interested in any information on the Bruce family. Barnet's father was Benjamin Bruce, believed to have come to America from Scotland ca 1750. He married Mildred Watts, daughter of Jacob Watts. Barnet and Lucy Lampton daughter of John and Tabith a Lampton were married in Clark Co., KY and moved to Christian Co., KY for a few years, then to Cooper Co., MO, and then to Putnam/Mercer Co., MO. Their children married Baskett, Smith, Craig, Gordon, Rhea, Lampton.
